Cloud computing comes with real costs, and to sustainably provide a fast, reliable, and continuously improving service, we need to cover them. Together with our community, we’ve developed a pricing model designed to fit your needs—no matter the size of your collection.

What is the current timeline?
We are launching July 8th on Kickstarter. After a successful campaign we should be able to deliver the product by February 2026.
What is the Card Finder?
Why will I never have to sort cards again?
Many machines on the market offer physical card sorting, which contributes to their hefty price tags. But during our development process, we realized a fundamental flaw in that approach: once your collection reaches a certain size, physical sorting becomes inefficient.
Imagine trying to locate a specific card in a massive stack of thousands of red commons - it quickly turns into a time-consuming task.
That’s why we took a different path. Our system eliminates the need for physical sorting by remembering where each card is stored. Simply place your stack of cards into the machine, scan them, and select your storage location. Done.
When search a card, our system tells you exactly where it is. It’s faster and more efficient than even the most meticulously organized physical collection and included in our free platform.
What’s the value of this and what will it really cost me in the end?
The true value of a digital inventory is a personal decision. What’s less subjective is the value of the time you save. That’s why we’ve been transparent about our pricing from the very beginning.
In collaboration with our community, we created both pay-as-you-go and subscription models to offer flexible options for everyone. As we continue to grow and become more efficient, we pass those savings directly on to you. Since the start of this project, we’ve already reduced costs by 40 percent.
Will the Butler damage my cards?
Rest assured, we prioritize the safety of your valuable collection. The device is designed with carefully selected materials and features advanced sensors. In the rare event of a jam, the system will immediately stop and notify the user, ensuring your cards remain protected at all times. We take this seriously and aren't cutting any corners or cards.
Why is there a token system? How does it work?
Our device scans your cards and then processes them in the cloud, offering several key advantages. We are able to produce a significantly cheaper machine while offering high performance. We are able to add new TCGs without the need to retrofit the machine and also can skip having to constantly update. By reducing the footprint of the machine drastically sharing shipping and reselling of the machine becomes way easier.
The cloud computing however, incurs a small cost which needs to be covered.
This approach allows us to deliver a high-quality product with long-term reliability while ensuring it remains cost-effective and up to date. As transparency is one of our core values, we also provide a cost calculator.
Are CSV imports and exports supported?
Of course. While our platform is included and features tools like the card finder we certainly don't force anyone to stay. CSV exports are definitely possible.
What is the scanning speed?
Currently the main bottleneck in scanning is the transmission of data over WIFI. For that reason we have just designed and ordered a new PCB that features a more powerfull antenna. We are confident that this will bring the scanning time down from the current 5-8 second per card and achieve even faster scanning speeds. We will keep you posted on that development in our mailing list. We are confident we will be able to scan around 800 cards per hour.
Does it work with sleeved cards?
Currently, the device is optimized for unsleeved cards. Inner sleeves will most likely be possible too. Our goal is to fully support sleeved cards in the future. Double-sleeved and Triple-sleeved cards will most likely not be possible at least not without modifiying the device.
What's the Early Bird offer? How does it work?
For the Kickstarter campaign we estimated the break even of the device to be ~150 USD and our early bird offer is exactly that, the guaranteed lowest price we can offer: No profit on the device.
Keep in mind that we can only do this because we cover the scanning costs separately.
